Benedict was born in 1980 in Ypres, a city in Flanders, Belgium. During the First World War, Ypres was completely demolished, but after the war, the town was rebuilt with the main square, including the "Cloth Hall" and Town Hall, which were both rebuilt as close to the original designs as possible. Benedict now lives nearby in a small borough of Ypres, called Brielen. Benedict graduated from Carpentry/woodworking School in 1997 and worked in that industry for two years. In 1999, he started a weekend job as a quality inspector in the food industry and during the week he has done many other jobs, to make ends meet. Benedict recalls, “At a certain point I was working almost day and night. I realised that this was not the way I wanted to live and was in need of something different.” So, since 2003, he has only worked weekends, doing two twelve hours shifts. As he needed to occupy himself with something else during the weekdays, he bought a computer, and learned how to use it and began searching for something to supplement the family income. Benedict discovered the DHS Club business opportunity in 2004 and became a VIP in September of that year. He says, “Not one day has gone by without me doing something with the DHS Club. It has changed my vision of my future. I have learned to be patient, to be committed, to be persistent, and I have gained many new friends. Overall, I feel I have grown as a person. Much of this I owe to my Team Coach Gino Descamps, who has always been there to guide me and to keep me on ‘the yellow brick road’. I want to advise everyone to work close with their team Coaches, as I have, as they are the only ones who can show you the path, keep you in the right direction and keep you in the right attitude. Since they know the way, why not follow in their footsteps?” As you might expect, Benedict has set some goals for his future, “My goal in the near future is to work from home full-time, which I plan to do very, very soon. My next goal is to attend the USA Convention and actually, it is not just a goal - I will be there!” Benedict shares some advice for other young people like himself, that are building a DHS Club business, “A tip that really works for me is to do what has to be done, even if at first you don’t get it (for example, like reading a positive thinking book!). Then, persist in doing it. I believe that when you believe in your dreams and persist to reach them, it is always rewarding. The DHS Club has certainly improved my life already and will continue in the years to come.” Already, for a young man in his 20's, Benedict is learning that dreams do come true!

Introducing : Gino Descamps - Hulste, Belgium

Gino Descamps is from Hulste, Belgium, a small town (pop. 2,500) situated about 100 kilometers west of Brussels. Gino is married to his wife, Kristien and they one daughter, Kimberly and a granddaughter. Before going full time with his DHS Club business, Gino had been an international truck driver, putting in long hours as he crisscrossed the long winding roads of Europe. During those long hours of driving, Gino dreamed of a way to spend more time at home with his family.

In May, 2002, during a weekend free from driving, Gino was surfing the Internet and came upon the DHS Club site. Gino had been involved in a network marketing business in the past and immediately saw the differences between the DHS Club's marketing plan and the network marketing plan he had been involved with. The potential got him very excited and he became a VIP that weekend.

Since that time, Gino has worked tirelessly on his DHS Club business, building a strong organization of sales directors, managers, representatives and Members. In July of 2004, one of Gino's goals became a reality when he attended a DHS Club convention in Tampa Florida. It was his first trip to the USA and he was able to finally meet his upline Executive Director, Harold Hill. Gino said, "A strong friendship was born which resulted in my achievement of being promoted to the level of Diamond Director in November, 2004. At the convention, CEO Dick Burke made a promise to me, to visit Belgium and hold a training Conference when I reached the next level. So I returned to Belgium to work hard to reach the Executive Director level, which I did in February, 2005. Mr. Burke kept his promise and came to Belgium in March, 2005."

After qualifying as an Executive Director for three consecutive months, Gino and Kristien were invited to come to Englewood, FL for their Executive Director HQ trip. That was the first time that Kristien had ever been to the USA and they loved being escorted by Dick and Pat Burke aboard the company's boat "ClubShop I", to their gulf front condo and to dinner each night. Following their HQ trip, they attended the 2005 Convention and returned home determined to host the first European Convention in 2006.

After returning home, the Descamps were able to make another dream come true - Kristien was able to leave her day job to spend more time with Gino and their granddaughter.

In May of 2006, Gino hosted the first DHS Club European Convention and was able to welcome VIPs from different countries in Europe and introduce them to two new Executive Directors in his organization. Just following the Convention, Gino had another one of his dreams become a reality - driving his own Porsche (shown in the picture above)!

Gino tells us that the DHS Club has already changed his life for the better, "We are walking the walk, step by step, along the "yellow brick road' and towards a great future with the DHS Club."

Introducing : Frank Finch - Winchester, Hampshire UK

Today we're shining the Spotlight on Frank Finch of Winchester, Hampshire, United Kingdom, pictured above with Audrey. Frank says, "We have 6 children and 10 grandchildren between us. Each of them making their own special demands which helps to keep our lives enriched."

Frank was born in Stockport, Cheshire, UK in 1942. At the age of 18, he began a career in the British Armed Forces which lasted 24 years. Frank said, "During this time I visited many countries, including France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Spain, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Canada, USA and Belize. Since that time I have worked in Accounting, Life Insurance, Law and Logistics in association with various known and not so well known companies. So you can imagine that I have met people from all walks of life and I have always managed to find a way to communicate and join-in wherever I have been. I have a total fascination and love of people.

Like most, I have had many challenges in my life. I take the view that it is not the problems we encounter but rather how we deal with them that matters. Retirement from the 9am - 5pm routine looms on the horizon, but I have plenty of go in me yet and I still strive to improve my life."

When asked about his accomplishments, Frank shared, "When I joined DHS Club, my sponsor was at the Bronze Manager level; a qualification that seemed so far off. I was thrilled to sponsor my first members and I was virtually uncontrollable when the first one upgraded to VIP! I just became engrossed in the way this operation works. I have been involved with Network programs before, but nothing has ever been as good as DHSC. It was inevitable that I would achieve the Gold Manager level. You have to believe in yourself, believe in the system, and follow the training: "Follow the Yellow Brick Road".

A series of events took place that I never could have predicted. I just simply persisted at giving out ClubBucks Reward cards, talking to anyone and everyone, and calling on businesses. In the background, some VIP's were getting left aside without support and help. I didn't even know that I was one of them. Out of the blue I received an email from Dick Burke, CEO of the company no less! He wanted to know if I was interested in helping with the restructuring of a fragmented network? Would I accept the challenge to support and manage a few people? You have to say yes when it's put like that! But, nothing is for free with Dick. It required me to take all of the training courses over again. Every single one of them. Go back to basics, re-train and re-fresh. With Dick's support and a new found friend, Walter Woods, the whole network was rebuilt and became productive. The seeds planted began to sprout leaves and shoots. I've begun to apply the same management principles in my other lines.

We asked Frank about his goals and he exclaimed, "This business is for everyone! You can go at your own pace. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Gino Descamps in Belgium. I think he joined DHSC about the same time as I did and he is an Executive Director! Executive Director is where I want to be! That lapel pin is waiting for me. It just hasn't been delivered yet!"

The headquarters staff will be looking forward to the day when Frank comes to headquarters as an Executive Director for his President's Club trip! We will be cheering for Frank all the way to the Ambassador's Club!

Introducing : Roland Dufault - Phoenix Arizona, USA

Today we're shining the Spotlight on Roland Dufault of Phoenix, Arizona, USA, pictured above.

Roland was born and raised on a Dairy Farm in Northern Minnesota . He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. After graduating, he worked two years for a chemical company and 10 years in the insurance industry providing total disability coverage to self employed farmers and businessmen. Having had his fill of cold weather, he moved to Phoenix where he started a construction company and purchased a home.

Roland said, "I love hunting and fishing throughout Arizona and especially in the beautiful Ponderosa Pine Forests of northern Arizona. I now own a beautiful mountain cabin home nestled in the pines at the 7000 foot level. In the Winter, I enjoy growing a beautiful vegetable garden in Phoenix. In the Summer, I enjoy growing a second vegetable garden up near Flagstaff.

Roland has two sons and a daughter. He enjoys being a Grandfather to his daughter's 5 year old little boy.

When asked about his accomplishments, Roland shared, "I have always wanted to continue to be in business for myself and to develop a residual Income to supplement my on-going income from the insurance industry. I knew that I wanted to become involved with a business on the Internet. My first experience was selling a book on line for a company. The income I earned was meager.

After that, I decided to start a newsletter online. I began to target all the email I was receiving to offer them a subscription to my newsletter. The newsletter focused on my research on becoming a representative of as many online businesses as possible. I thought that I might receive a substantial income from the sales generated from directing my newsletter subscribers to these companies."

Roland told us that it was at this time, in June 1999, when he received an email from his sponsor, Robbie Bracco, regarding a business opportunity with which she was involved. He replied to her email and obtained permission to send her his newsletter.

He said, "After I sent Robbie one of my first newsletters explaining what I was trying to do in building these programs one company at a time, she emailed me back. She explained that the company she was associated with, the Discount Home Shoppers Club, was in the process of obtaining contracts with different retail vendors and had just set up a Outlet Center of products for their members. She also indicated that the DHS Club had future plans to develop a Shopping Mall with many retail stores from which members could make purchases. She suggested that I should sign up for a FREE membership ID number and become part of this fantastic buyers club. So I joined for free and began receiving additional information from her explaining the DHS Club's consumer and business opportunities."

Roland told us that he didn't pay much attention to it at first, but he finally did some research and became quite impressed with the structure of the DHS Club which sparked his interest further. He said, "Within a few weeks I upgraded to a VIP so I could begin building my data base of members in my downline. I had finally found the source which would provide me with the Residual Income for which I had been searching. I was very, very impressed how Robbie continued to help me day after day. I asked her questions one at a time and she responded with answers that I could understand.

I joined in 1999 and have witnessed how the DHS Club has grown to include hundreds of stores in the Clubshop Mall. They have added more and more membership benefits, such as the Clubshop Outlet Center, Business Center, Benefits Center, and many more.

Many of my dreams have been fulfilled. I have retired from my construction work and I am continuing to build my DHSC business one day at a time. It provides me with a fine Residual Income. Many of the dreams of the founder, Dick Burke, have also been fulfilled. And, there are many, many more to come. As Dick has said many times, "It just keeps getting better and better!"

I am quite fortunate to have visited the DHSC Headquarters in Englewood, Florida several times. I have also been to the Ducks' Nest retreat. I have listened to Dick mention on PalTalk, the days in the beginning when things were a lot tougher than they are today - when we were doing business by the 'seat of our pants'. I am also very proud of the fact that I have attended and contributed to many Conferences throughout the country with Dick Burke, Harold Hill, and Robbie Bracco. I have also been on two Cruises with many other Executive Directors. The DHS Club has given me many additional freedoms in my life. I would not have had the opportunity to experience these things if I had not upgraded to VIP.

When asked about his goals, Roland shared, "I feel that everyone in life, deserves the right to raise their family and provide them the good things they deserve. My main goal in life now is to help other people, in any way I can, to move from living paycheck to paycheck, to having residual income from the DHSC business. That will permit them the time to spend with their families and to accomplish the many dreams that they have set for themselves.

I also feel very confident that, with the help of my upline and downline Team, I will become a member of the Ambassador's Club.

Introducing : Fabrizio Perotti - Torino, ITALY

Today we're shining the Spotlight on Fabrizio Perotti of Torino, Italy, pictured above. Fabrizio is a 39 year old Ski Instructor with 3 children. His work experience background also includes the fur trade and coffee industry.

Fabrizio says, "My personal choices have always been determined by the constant desire of freedom. I understood that, for a normal person, freedom means having free time together with the financial means to enjoy it."

He became involved in Network Marketing for the first time in 1999. Fabrizio understood that Network Marketing was the means to achieve his personal goal of financial freedom. Unfortunately, his first Network Marketing experience was not a good one, but his faith in Network Marketing was strong and he believed in the system. He says, "I had just chosen to become involved with the wrong company." So, from September 2000 to January 2001, Fabrizio spent five months researching to select a company that would satisfy all of his personal criteria and that represented to him "the best opportunity in the world". Fabrizio says, "I had the time to do it, so why not? This hard work lead me to upgrade to VIP with the DHS Club on January 31, 2001. "

In February 2001, he achieved the Team Captain level followed by Bronze Manager in April, Silver Manager in May, Ruby Director in June, Emerald Director in August, and Executive Director in September. By January 2002, Fabrizio had achieved 3 Star Executive Director.

Fabrizio says, "Since ClubBucks started, my enthusiasm literally exploded again, so we started to reorganize our wonderful Italian Team!" They have set up weekly meetings in Turin called, "Coordinamento Nazionale ClubBucks", which, when translated means "National Coordination ClubBucks". VIP Members, Merchant Affiliates, Members and guests are invited. He says:

When asked about his goals, Fabrizio said, "I want to keep on developing my personal strategy, based of course on DHSC guidelines, to make of the ClubBucks Program the standard in retail commerce in Italy and help thousands of families to forget about their financial troubles."
